Inventor: Ricardo LaFortune
U.S. Patent S/N: 5,584,593
As attorney for the inventor of the patented Disposable, Reusable Toothbrush With Toothpaste Handle, we are currently seeking manufacturing companies to license, purchase patent rights or enter into a royalty agreement for this timely invention.
The Disposable, Reusable Toothbrush With Toothpaste Handle provides a combination of toothbrush and toothpaste in which the toothbrush may be disposed of after from one to three brushings. It also provides an inexpensive method for preventing the expulsion of toothpaste from the handle and the concurrent wasting and caking of toothpaste.
The hollow handle of the toothbrush contains toothpaste and a compressible plastic pad. When pressure is applied to the plastic pad, toothpaste is forced through the hollow handle through a duct in the neck and out of the openings between the bristle tufts on the head. A self-adhering plastic cover covers the openings in the head to prevent crusting of the toothpaste. This plastic cover may be applied multiple times, allowing for several uses of the toothbrush before it is discarded.
Now for the first time this Disposable, Reusable Toothbrush With Toothpaste Handle is being made available to millions of potential users. The low manufacturing cost of the product is also of major importance.
