Objects of the present invention:
- to provide a sealed transparent unit for opening and inspecting mail prior to exposure to the content of said mail
- to provide a biological safety mailbox having gloved access ports therein
- to provide a biological safety mailbox having outwardly extending conduit elements with an exteriorly positioned groove whereupon gloves can be mounted thereto
- to provide a biological safety mailbox having a hingedly attached lid
- to provide a biological safety mailbox having closure fasteners for compressing the lid to the base container
- to provide a biological safety mailbox having fasteners whereby the device can be mounted to a wall
