Objects of the present invention:

  • to provide an undergarment for ambulatory and prosthetic use

  • to provide a vest-like garment open down the side with fasteners positioned therebetween

  • to provide a vest-like garment wherein said fasteners are elastomeric straps

  • to provide a vest-like garment having a front side and a back side with a plurality of pockets positioned on the interior front side

  • to provide a vest-like garment having one or more pockets positioned along the back hem to prevent the tendency of the garment to shift during wear due to an uneven weight distribution from articles placed within said pockets

  • to provide a vest-like garment that can be used under wet or dry conditions

  • to provide a vest-like garment wherein said weight caring pockets are openable and resealable

  • to provide a vest-like garment wherein said front pockets are openable and selectively resealable

  • to provide a vest-like garment that can be used as an undergarment for prosthetic placement as in the case of a masectomy, the vest can serve either the right or left breast or both
